Our room was huge with king bed and two bathrooms, old cabinet with tv and smaller tv on ledge. Place is very old and only complaint was the lobby stunk (musty and nursing homeish smell). Front desk folks were nice and polite. My wife was scared at first because the place is sorta creepy at first due to its age....
Went to the annual Blues Festival which is held at this grand old riverboat era hotel. It's just an absolutely perfect place for it. Five floors of old style hotel magic. The décor is period. The rooms simulate riverboat cabins. I guess people just didn't need much room back then. The staff is down to earth and very helpful. Lovely...
Very nice hotel. Old style with friendly staff. We has lunch and the food was great. A good family place. Walking around town was fun with old shops, college campus was nice and walking around some of the victorian homes was worth it. A visit to the castle was quite interesting.
