In Short
It's only a small awning on Fifth Avenue that marks the long and narrow space, where dim lighting and dark furniture make this cave-like cafe seem miles away from the bustling...
Some good, some really good. Dined over the weekend and tried three separate dishes. We were all in the mood for red sauce, so I can't speak on the white dishes. Started with salad and soup. Both were good. The french onion soup was unique in flavor. There was almost a spice to it, but it was uniquely fabulous. Went to meals of chicken parm, lasagna, and bolognese. Lasagna was good. It had...
A business associate took me to The Grape top sample their range of Port. It is a small venue, but that simply adds to its uniqueness as a Wine Bar with visually appealing decor. Literally tucked into an enclosed alley space, it is easy to miss if you are looking for it, but well worth a visit to partake of...
I went with a friend because it was advertised in the San Diego Go Card booklet and it turned out to be a great find. Small but nice place. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a really good atmosphere. If you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant, this is the place for you!

Regular. I eat here fairly often. It's one of the only places to get a veal picatta in Cedar Rapids. The bar area has great atmosphere. The staff are regulars and do a great job. Good place for a business dinner.
Grape the can be found at 5th Ave 823. The following is offered: Bars, Pubs, & Clubs. The entry is present with us since Sep 7, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 12, 2013. In San Diego there are 19 other Bars, Pubs, & Clubs. An overview can be found here.
This wine bar features dark furnishings and a low-level yellow luminescence. Their wine list contains more than 75 varieties of the stuff coming from some of the best vineyards from all over the world. Appetizers here are all designed simply to compliment the wonderful wine.

Many people say one bar cannot stand out in the Gaslamp Quarter where bars are a dime a dozen. This one proves them wrong. Only 11 feet wide, The Grape is long and narrow, but full of character. Elegant Trompe L'oeil frescos adorn the walls creating warmth and openness while bestowing the image of age.
