The Cockentrice Restaurant Review

To describe Kevin Ouzts' The Cockentrice (rhyming with "thrice"), one must use a much-abused word: unique. While vegetarians will find something nice to eat --- the vegetable “study” for one --- this is a meat-lover's fantasy. Named for a Medieval beastie that stitched together the fore half of a pig with the rear half of a capon, the restaurant explores both classical and creative charcuterie...

We have been buying goods from Spotted Trotter at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market for some time now...today was our first time at The Cockentrice and it was amazing! We can't wait to go back. This is now one of our favorite places to eat.

My third visit and I will go back for sure but last night found the pork hanger steak and the rump disappointing. The rump was over spiced to the point that the flavor of the meet was lost. The pork was served cold and the meat was quite dry.

My wife had the fish which was suburb.

The other meats and cheeses were superb.

Almost don't even know what to say about this place. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar.

Knowledgeable staff with personable and authentic input. Meat and cheese plate to start, followed by the bleu cheese ribeye. The food is so good that you're almost uncomfortable to be enjoying it in public,

It ten stars was a thing, then this place would earn it.
