I live down the street from tbsp and was thrilled to try a new spot for brunch. The wait was about 20 minutes longer than we were given (originally 30 minutes), but the staff was very friendly and offered us complimentary muffins. Once we sat down, our waitress was exceptionally friendly and …
Went for brunch with a friend - was told there was a 30-45 min wait, came back after about 20 and was seated within 5 minutes. Food was good - I got the breakfast skillet and grapefruit mimosa. Great location, although a little construction outside at the moment.
Place is cute enough but.... I had the blta sandwich which was $15 and totally not worth it. Whole menu was overpriced which would be acceptable if food was worthy... In this case it was not. A can of Diet Coke was $4. My companion had their signature tbsp omelet and liked the side, mushroom hash better than the eggs. Don't bother going.

We haven't been to our old brunch favorite TBSP much since moving further away to the West Side. We had some out-of-town guests staying with us this weekend who requested a simple, classic NYC brunch spot and it seemed like the perfect place. Right away, we noticed a bunch of small changes such as the addition of water and snacks in the foyer to enjoy while you wait.
