OMG! Complete disaster!! This place DESTROYED my husbands $2000 Armani Suit. He bought it, and wore it once, gained some weight and needed to have it let out. She charged $90, which I thought was pretty high but I was completely willing to pay to have it done right. I brought the suit there and looked at it with the lady. She asked me to have my husband come and try it on- so my eyes are on this two more times... Fast forward to 9/30/2019- I go pick up the suit and bring it home and the pants have new crazy stitching going down one pocket which I know for a FACT it was not like that prior. Seeing it close up 3 times prior to her altering them. You can see from the close up of the pockets and waist- clearly the same thread.

I call her WITHIN 2 HOURS and texted her photos of the pants- the first thing she said is maybe it happened at the dry cleaners?? I did not have time to take to the dry cleaners. Now she CLAIMS they don't have sewing machine that could do this, but the thread is 100% the exact match- just another lie and that's all you will get from this woman is headaches and lie after lie.

My husband tried them on and we were both in complete shock when we saw what happened. I am so angry with Tara Tailor she did NOT tell the pocket and then she has the nerve to say it happened elsewhere or I dropped it off like that and that she doesn't remember if it was like this when I brought it, I would have NEVER altered pants in the condition, we would have bought new ones.

This woman is a serious compulsive liar... she absolutely refused to take any responsibility. One of the MOST DISHONEST people I have EVER come in contact with. She said bring the pants back and I can fix it- I would have to be absolutely crazy to bring anything back to EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. On top of it I just feel she 100% cannot be trusted. I will never set foot in this shop again and I can only caution you to do them same.

I am a reasonable person who understand mistakes happen but she just totally refused to take any responsibility. I would have reacted completely differently if she has some integrity and told me what happened and didn't just let me pick this up and act like nothing is wrong ... my husband can't wear this now- it's completely ruined and I will attach photos. Do you really think I would have something in this condition altered? They need to be replaced.

SHAME ON YOU TARA TAILOR!!! Take responsibility next time.

And I really can't believe all these 5 star reviews, this place is horrible and completely overpriced unless you want your clothes to
end up with Edward Scissorhands, my 10 year old could do a job like this maybe even better. Clearly a terrible mistake, but this place makes it all worse with all the lies, lies and more lies, trying to blame the dry cleaners- there is no point in dry cleaning these pants. You were made aware of the situation 2 hours after I picked it up. If this were the original condition we would have opted for a new suit- and that exactly what we must do now. Take your high-end garment elsewhere!
