Fast service, hot tater tots, great tacos, great cheese sauce! I am embarrassed to say we stop there every time we visit CR. We are easily impressed, I guess!
Taco John's has fresh food with friendly service. They have daily specials that are reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean.
The taco salad is my favorite!
It's "fast food Mexican". Not your fancy-fare Mexican restaurant, but consistently good food and service nonetheless. Potato Ole's with nacho cheese are a must!
Taco John's has been my default "Mexican" fast food restaurant since they were first introduced in the early 1960s. The selection of dishes as evolved to match people's tastes and interests, however the hard shell and soft shell tacos are their mainstays.
