You've really got to love Turkish food to make the trek out to this Midwood restaurant, but the food waiting for you after that long ride on the Q train makes it all worthwhile. Feast on shish kebab, doner kebab, and kebabs you've never heard of. We arrived at the restaurant around 6 p.m. on a Saturday night. The main dining room was full, but after a very short wait, we were seated in a room adjacent to the main dining room. I have been to this Restaurant 20 years ago and did not like it too much. My friends convinced me that things have changed and that the place is a good place for Turkish food. After my second visit, 20 years later, I can say that nothing has changed. Food is good, but nothing special. Service is friendly but sporadic...

Went last sunday for our second time with friends again
We wait a little bit but worth it
Food amazing as ever , helpful waiters, we bought our own beer and this time they have a cool idea to bring a metal cilinder full of ice to keep the beers cold!! VERY APPRECIATED

I go to this place for party's and groups and I come just me and my wife . Always respectful never wait long for table . The price is right . And the food is great from the fish to the meats and salads just perfect

The food here is as homey and reliable as the atmosphere. Highlights include: leek or artichoke meze, eggplant purée, fried liver cubes, French fries, lamb casserole, kebabs and kunefe, a sweet cheese layered with shredded dough and drenched in honey syrup.
