An eclectic, international menu lands on some prime Gaslamp real estate thanks to the deep pockets of a successful Tijuana restauranteur.

Great sushi in a trendy environment

Excellent sushi with a varied menu. Cool, trendy ambience. Very good service. A little bit pricey, but seems to be the standard "rate" in the Gaslamp quarter. If you like sushi, you'll like this place.

This is definitely not the hushed, formal sushi bar type place, The music is loud, the vibe is very upbeat, and the attitude is one of lots of fun (just look at the videos of old Godzilla episodes and japanese monster movies playing on the TV's. If you are lucky Speed Racer will be on).

Great Sushi spot, I'm going there regularly for Edamame Guac, it's the only place I've ever had Edamame Guacamole. I do that coupled with a cocktail and an Omikaze (WHich is where the chef's selects the best fish and a signature roll for you) and I'm set for dinner for 1 or 2.

Great spot to check out the downtown crowd, have drinks and eat some tasty food. The brussels sprouts are amazing, chicken teriyaki bowels are good. Fish tasted fresh.

Business description (4)

Sexy, vibrant sushi lounge located in the heart of Gaslamp San Diego. Rated 4.5 stars on Yelp!

Moe Sadighian loves the taste of Tijuana, especially its upper-crust cuisine. Rather than bending over backward to convince wary San Diego foodies to haul their...

This intensely romantic restaurant offers outstanding Tapas—small, savory dishes served as appetizers or as an entire meal. The salmon, pine nut and cranberry empanada is particularly good, and the rich melted mancheco cheese in the Fundido smears over the crusty bread in a very satisfying way. Enjoy the Tapas in the music-filled bar or dine on a full Spanish meal in the adjacent dining room....
