My tenants complained that the old bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working well. I needed a new unit. My long-time electrician has just retired so I needed to shop around for a new one. I tried some of the heavily advertised electricians and never got past the clue-less telephone lady who promised to make an appointment next week for a salesman to come in make an estimate, and who advised me that the estimate would cost $69.95 or $75.00 or so.
