Contractor sat on deposit for 7 months without returning a call. After a personal visit he scheduled the work. The work was of poor quality, 3 leaks to date, wrong materials from those contracted, damaged other parts of the property. Refuses to fix the leaks, failed to provide any spare tile, and refuses to respond to BBB, or State Lic Board.

I got estimates from Storm Proof a couple of months before Hurricane Wilma, but I didn't sign a contract until December 8, 2004. By the time I signed, the cost had gone up exactly 25 percent. That's because they were busy, and the Chinese were taking all the cement.

I waited patiently for over nine months from the date of contract for the completion of installation of my new roof....

This review is bull, written by my competition to make me look bad. As we all know, a new roof does not take but a week or two to complete. Who in their right mind would wait so long before they would call another roofer or sue to get their money back. I have been in business for over 20 years, which in Florida is a life time. Storm Proof fixed my roof after Hurricane Wilma, after it was fix I had to replace the ceiling from all the water damage. THen.. my roof leaked twice really bad and stained and bubbles my new ceiling. Storm Proof refused to come back and fix the inside of my house. If you called them they just give you the run around.

The sales pitch and presentation went well. Nothing after that did. Every step in the process hadproblem or questionable event. Waited 7 months following payment of 20% deposit just for a response as to the wait.
