Something of a freak hybrid, this downtown eatery and bar is the result of a union between an Irishman and a Texan, and no, there is no punchline. There is, however, a lot of good Irish beer, stout, and whiskey, and a menu filled with southern grub like fried chicken and blackened catfish.

As unpretentious as Tribeca gets. Actually, place would be unpretentious by even Irish or Texan standards, which is maybe not such a surprise given that's where the owners hail from.
