My husband and I stayed at The Highland Inn, and while he is vegetarian, and I am vegan, we were anxious to try this restaurant just next door to the hotel. The food was just outstanding, especially when you are into vegan food. The service was very friendly. The wait times for the food could have been a little bit faster though. In general, both thumbs up!

Soul Vegetarian has been at this location for over 20 years. Preparing "food for a healthy life," all dishes are 100 percent vegan, completely cholesterol and dairy free. Available are appetizers like mushroom, cauliflower and onion rings or a variety of soups and salads. For dinner, the "divine vegetarian feast," a selection of savory meals, is prepared daily.

Soul Vegetarian is a 100% vegan restaurant located in the heart of Poncey Highland. The restaurant is small and quaint with an artistic decor and friendly staff. The restaurant features soul food, vegetarian food and traditional American cusine with a vegan twist. The restaurant is within walking distance of all of the area's shopping and entertainment venues.
