What the community has to say about Sophie's Cuban Cuisine

Information about this business (2)

Cuban food served fast at lunch five days per week. Takeout line also moves quickly and delivery is very fast. Call us for all of your catering needs too. We have daily specials and regular, everyday entrees. Our sandwiches are the best lead by the authentic Sophie's Cuban Sandwich. Most guests fall in love with our Special Sophie's Green sauce - try some on almost anything.

The New Street Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine is home to Manuela Matos, the chain’s matriarch, and Eduardo Morgado the master Cuban Chef who created the delicious recipes.

Manuela started the family business in 1967 in her native Peru, which still operates successfully to this day. She loved to cook and she loved to work and when an opportunity appeared for her to open a stand in a nearby market to...

Lunch counter-style restaurant serves Cuban comfort food, like the instantly-recognizable cubano sandwich and sides of platanos, black beans, and rice.

This review is for their sandwiches, because that's all I've had. Definitely get their sandwiches with a twist for an additional cost, or you can get the pernil which already comes twisted. I...

I had the baked chicken entree + 3 sides. The chicken is pretty good. Not quite on the level of the smaller Cuban food spots in the Queens area. Flavor on the outside parts of the chicken is...

Not all Sophie's locations have seating. This one does. The longtimers who swear by this place and it's spicy green, home-made sauce, all suggest getting some protein with yellow rice and black...

Seems like I can't get enough Cuban food lately. One of my wife's yelp friends said we gotta go here since we were in Bowling Green, which is right next to the Wall St area. We hit there just...
