Shopped there for 40 years. Great variety, small town atmosphere, and the owner is a LEGEND among the fraternity of independent garden and hardware store owners in central Texas. Plus he has a graduate degree in math from UT, do he is always good for consultation on that one tough problem.
Old fashioned kindness and good quality products. We get our hay, horse oats, pet food, and garden tools here and always have lovely conversation and are tickled that our truck is loaded up for us. My 3 yr old LOVES the fish tank and metal toys too!
I love that they have such a varied selection of organic and sustainable seeds and plants. Their tomatoes are always a pleasure to pick out! A truly magical little oasis in a quaint little town. Plus they are the only location in the area to carry GMO/Soy-free chicken feed and other organic feed brands!
