Help us make it rightThank you for the prompt refund. I cancelled my class before it started and understood there would be a $125 fee to cancel the class before I attended. They were very polite, didn't push me at all and I got the refund right away. Sometimes when you call a company and cancel its like an ordeal. When I dealt with them it was no hassle and done in a flash. Will be back to register in the future once I have my personal schedule sorted out. They were very nice.
A friend recommended this course when she took it last year. She said the strategy and instructor really helped her score better. I took the course recently and have to recommend it too. I am sure glad she told me about Sherwood. I hadn't heard of them before but the course was well structured and the class size was about 14 students, so it was pretty small. I loved my instructor.
I was very, very scared to take the GRE. I'm not a good test taker and I never really did that well on tests. That said, I did way better than I thought I could after taking their course. My scores were not really high but they were much improved from where I started from. Its do the best that you could personally do and I did that. I followed all the homework and did all of the reviews. My instructor had a great sense of confidence and compassion, he was both an expert but also willing to explain things to me at my level.
You know that person you have inside you that can do great things? That can be more than they thought they could be? Well after taking their GRE class that person was me. I can't lie, I put in a whole lot of work, so don't think you can just sit in the course and do nothing. The course, along with my efforts, helped me see strategy and the structure of the exam. I came out really doing better than I thought I could. Super Good!
Sometimes I'm wrong. Not in this case. I completed their GRE course early this year and after much heartache did much better than my original official exam. I took the GRE cold without studying, and that was a big mistake. I was wrong to do that, luckily the GRE policy states you can essentially hide that score so the schools don't know. That's what I'm talking about! Real prep! Completed my class two months ago, took my test yesterday at the Prometric Center and scored above 160 on both sides of the GRE! Grad school here I come! Cost me a lot, but helped more than I thought it could because it focused my studying and gave me direction.

When I decided to spend the $500 for a prep course instead of reading the books/online stuff my main concern was an instructor and the instructor quality. I've had bad classes before where the instructor sucks. Not so here. I had a great instructor and he helped guide me and it really helped my score.
Score was better than the first official test I took before I started this class. Felt I was drowning without any help; didn't like the books at Barnes and Noble. Was a relief to get some help in a class format, it was worth the price.
GRE Prep course option is the one I chose. The course was strategy and review and was very helpful because I forgot stuff and couldn't see much of the strategy myself. I would recommend for those who are rusty (like me). Great course!
