Help us make it rightThis is my first, and in my opionion, the worst psychologist you can ever encounter. He will tell you something like "the situation looks really bad from outside. If you ask 100 people from the stree, they will all tell you that you did something wrong!". If what he said is right, why did we need to spend almost $200/hr to get his opinions which you will simply get by grabing someone from the street ?? And also, he kept telling me that "I don't know too much about you, blah, blah, blah..", but then how you made such a big conclusion without knowing much of your clients ?? He didn't seem to have the ability (or interest) in knowing what were happening inside the mind of each party involved, but just draw conclusion from the first party that presented the case. In another words, he was very easily "contaminated". The most horrible experience in my life !!!! If you have no choice but going to him, go take a poll on your problem first from people on the street, and then tell him the conclusion. He will probably then tell you some techniques that he learned from the books which, in my opinion, do not help anything but make everyone suffer even more !!! Worst ever !!!
What you hear may make you feel uncomfortable. That's the point. Good mental health comes with work - and it's worth it. This psychologist helped my whole family become a family again. He gave us new insights and new ways of communicating. Highly recommended!
I think everyone has experienced the frustration in dealing with car mechanics. They are either trying to amplify the problems to rip you off or are incompetent to identify the problems. This is exactly how I felt when we tried to get Seskin to help our family problem. Still don't know which category to put him into: robbing our money or incompetent ??
