The Scene The white boxes printed with the picture of founder Mary See have long been recognized as a sign of comfortable quality and guaranteed goodness. Bright white and clean, See's is almost sterile in its appearance, its edges softened by the counterpeople, usually grandmotherly women who hand out free samples willy-nilly. What's Special While See's smooth butter creams and crunchy nut clusters haven't changed, the chocolatier has added some new candies to its traditional lineup.
