Money!

Searsucker is one of my favorite restaurants in Sam Diego, that's saying a lot! The service is always spot on! The waiters are very attentive without being bothersome and they know the menu like the back of their hands.'

The food is amazing. I suggest the shrimp and grits small plate and the pork entree. The drink menu is really inspired and original. I also love the atmosphere; the crowd is mixed and everyone always seems to be having a great time. Best part? Fair prices; I can definitely appreciate a restaurant that offers a legit priced menu.

Searsucker Restaurant Review

There’s a fetching party happening at Searsucker, part of chef Brian Malarkey’s fabric-themed restaurants. Set in a 7,000-square-foot warehouse in the middle of the Gaslamp, with a compelling design from Thomas Schoos, diners and imbibers gather for cocktails curated by the Snake Oil mixology team. The Indian Summer brings together fresh pressed apple juice, Grey Goose La Poire and Leopold...

The handsome Searsucker, a 7,000-square-foot space in the Gaslamp District, is filled with mismatched chairs, unfinished wood tables, rope chandeliers, and cowhides aplenty. The crowd is a combination of creatives, suits, and pre-partiers. San Diego celeb chef Brian Malarkey—one third of a dream team that includes boldface designer Thomas Schoos and local nightlife czar James Brennan—mans the...

Sitting on a prime corner in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, this rustically chic restaurant and bar aims to appeal to a wide demographic -- from local business types in search of a casual lunch, to couples craving a special night out, to conventioneers looking for a lively taste of San Diego, to downtown revelers seeking the next it-lounge. Searsucker, helmed by a Top Chef reality TV...

This place is so cool, it doesn't need a sign out front--look for the name quietly written on front door and valet stand. Celebrity Chef Brian Malarky's much-hyped eatery garners buzz on many levels--fare, crowd and noise levels. Sit by the exhibition kitchen and watch the show. Try Shrimp and bacon grits for comfort food made decadent, savor salmon "Scottish" succulent with slivers of beet,...

The food was good but wasn't the best I've ever had. The ambiance and outside seating were phenomenal. Service was good but it took a while for our server to come back at points.

Searsucker is a great spot. Very vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. We were a party of 4, but they were able to accommodate party's of many sizes the night we were in there.

Great assortment of small plates. Seating is fairly casual and the vibe was rockin on the Saturday night. Decent pours for the martini, not your disappointing mixology pour. I really enjoyed the meal. Three of us split 8 small pKates and we were very satisfied.

It was a spontaneous weekend getaway with a few friends this past weekend and we wanted something nice to eat so we came to Searsucker in downtown SD. The item that caught our attention was the tomahawk ribeye which we were eager to try.
