We put an entirely new HVAC system in only two years ago (with another company). It never functioned right and had to have the AC recharged 3 times in 24 months (again the other company).
I had a complete system installed by Sandium. Heater, air conditioner and air ducks. I am very happy with the installation. My home is comfortable while I cant tell that the system is running. I already recommended the company to several friends.
If you are looking for a quality heating and air conditioning company - this is the place to go!! I have a two story home and due to the temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs it was never really comfortable. Until… Sandium came along and installed a system with zoning capabilities. The new system not only addresses the comfort issues we had, we also see a significant decrease in energy consumption.
Sandium’s consultation was the most comprehensive. The proposal was detailed and the product selection very different from their competitors. Asked why they chose a much smaller size equipment we were presented with a calculation of the heating and cooling requirements of our home explaining why the selection was made. When asking a competitor, he said that he just looked at the capacity we had before. Sandium’s price was just about 10% higher then the next viable contractors (the other two I did not even consider). We thought that was a fair offer for what we were expecting. We have not been disappointed. The project went really smooth. The installers were friendly, polite and true professionals. I was impressed that even the city representative mentioned the great workmanship during the inspection.

"Sandium did a great job replacing the heater ductwork at our house. You can't believe how much better the heating system works now; we just turn the thermostat to whatever temperature we want and it heats up the whole house in < 10 minutes no matter how cold it is. Also, the air is so clean, not the old stale, mildew smell it used to have. We thought it was funny how we had so many heating companies come by the house and try to sell us a new furnace when all we really needed was our ducts replaced! Also, we just can't say enough good things about the team that did the installation. Very professional, and nice people too! Great company."
