now a boy bar- I think its called LAX. Now we don't have any lesbian bars in the area, i guess that's what happens when we u-haul it up and get all domesticated!

I don't know if the girls will 'come back' to the Sanctuary, but when I went there at 11pm on 1-21-11, there were no women there and only about 5 male rejects. What a shame. Even tho the previous owner/bartender guy was a sleazy worm, the girls still went there. If you bought anything but beer from HIM, you got screwed. While I'm glad he's gone, I'm sorry the women left, too. Where did they go?...

The SceneDespite its unusual location in a mini-strip mall (and next door to a topless bar), Angles is one of the few clubs in town where gay men and women mingle in equal proportions. The bar features two pool tables, a handful of arcade games and a modest dance floor. Suburban lesbians and gay men come here to party in a relaxed, carefree atmosphere that's significantly less crazy than the French Quarter.
