For over thirty years, I have taken all of my pets to Dr. Weber: cats, dogs, strays, fosters, and the occasional hamster. We have a larger than average animal family, and I credit him and his staff for their incredibly long and healthy lives. We said good-bye to one of our cats after over 20 years in his care. Another one of our cats will turn twenty this November. Our oldest dog is turning 15 and, although she had a stroke recently, thanks to him, she is doing just fine -- much to the chagrin of the squirrels in our backyard.
When we moved out to Livermore 14 years ago, I tried for the sake of convenience to find someone closer for those last minute visits that often pop up with pets. I've seen four out here, but each time I find they can't compare. They're either ridiculously expensive, too busy to fit us in less than a week, rude and unprofessional, or their offices are just too old and dirty. Most are without AAHA accreditation. So, for us, Dr. Weber is more than worth the 40 minute drive (one way) and, other than the occasional emergency visit, our pets have never seen anyone else.
No matter how busy they are, Dr. Weber and his staff always make time for us in when one of the babies suddenly becomes ill or injured. One night we came home to find our three dogs had gotten into a box of Valentine chocolates and Dr. Weber kept the office open late so that we could rush them all down. And when we can't make the time to keep an appointment, we can just drop them off on the way in to work and pick them up on the way home.
When one of our pets is sick, Dr. Weber gives us treatment options, estimates, and then lets us decide. He only advises me when I ask for his opinion. When x-rays are taken, he usually takes them for review by other vets, so I benefit from other opinions as well as his own. And I have always been impressed by the specialists he's recommended over the years.
With his office, it's the complete package. It's the excellent care, the convenience of an on-site lab and pharmacy, the reminder notes I can't do without, the clean office, and a wonderful staff. It's also the cards sent when we lose a loved one, the donations made on their behalf to a charity, and everyone's accommodation and sensitivity to us and our pets.
I realize that this is just one opinion, but there is an album on the reception table filled with dozens upon dozens of photos and letters and cards, all thanking him and his staff for taking such good care of their four-footed family members. I have recommended him without hesitation for over three decades and will continue to do so.
Was expecting to find a bigger run for the big dogs.
The staff and Dr. G were incredibly friendly and competent. They were able to see my 2 cats on short notice (within a couple hours!) I will be back!
I trust your staff with my precious pet. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Staff and doctor were professional and nice. Thanks
