We fly into Pheonix twice a year, and every time we make a stop at Sam's Cafe. With great food ( I suggest the Black and Bleu Quesadilla), smiling and quick service, and killer deals on their happy hour, it is what Arizona dining is all about to us!

I arrived at 4:30 PM - the restaurant was not busy. Attractive decor. Quickly seated. Provided menus and a list of daily specials. I chose a chicken penne pasta dish for $12.95. When my meal was served, I dug right in - only to find that this was not what I ordered. It was penne pasta with shrimp and scallops. I am glad I did not have a shellfish allergy.
