Great place to have burger and salad after a busy shopping day

Its a fun place with really cool decor, red and white is the theme all across.
Staff is very courteous and good food options to choose from. Service is really quick and a nice dining experience after a busy shopping day. I had the vegan burger with salad - was a great combo.

Food is american Classic, well served, the whole place is a retro look at the 50's and 60's and the prices are reasonable. Good Breakfast!

The perfect fat and sugar ladened diner food.
Arguably the best milkshake Ive ever had and one of the best cheeseburgers.
Definately not food that is good for your health BUT very good for the soul. As long as its only every now and again.

We were staying at a nearby resort and just looking for a good breakfast option capable of filling up 14 year old without fattening up middle aged parents. Food was comparable to IHOP or Denny's. Southwestern breakfast options are usually pretty healthy...Ruby's version comes with fried flour tortillas. Next time, we will check Trip Advisor before every meal, even breakfast.

This diner was across the street from the hotel we stayed at. It was great- yummy food, good prices, no wait, good for the kids. We actually went twice in one week- something we never do.

Located in the Carlsbad Premium Outlets Mall, this diner offers a glimpse back to the 1940s. Bright red vinyl booths, white Formica tables, soda fountains, milkshakes, burgers, Coca-Cola posters and commercial art echo the swing era. The sunny outdoor patio, with bright red tables and umbrellas, is an easy shopping break for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
