Interesting and Challenging layout

I thoroughly enjoyed the golf course. Each hole was well laid out and fun to play. Each hole presented challenges but rewarded a decent golf shot. The greens rolled true and the condition of the course was very good. The staff were friendly and the bar and menu were well appointed.

Hidden Jewel

Amelia River is a hidden jewel most folks in Jacksonville are unaware of as it's about a 40 minute drive from downtown. However, well worth the drive to play. NO houses on the course. Mostly wide enough fairways (18 is tight). Long par 3's, with one looking VERY much like TPC/17 island green. I will return soon.

A solid test of golfing skill

The layout of the holes as superb. The condition of the course was immaculate. My only criticism is that the greens are slow and grainy.
