We went to Rosie's on 8th ave,Had to wait for table as busy at 7pm.Had a drink at the packed bar area.Food was very good a plenty to eat.Went back again next night and packed again so we had a pizza instead.
Be early or be prepared to wait for a table.

Go down to the Pub in the basement. Prices quite reasonable and no wait pre-theater. Half block from Theater District. Surprisingly, not touristy.

great service and atmosphere

stopped in for a sandwich and shepherd pie. the beers were great the service was great and almost came back for dessert after the theatre. the fries were cooked perfect and the corned beef was thick and no fat. attentive waiter and the iced tea was also strong and plentiful.

My daughter and I wanted an after show meal after attending a concert at the nearby Roseland Ballroom. Choices are pretty limited surprisingly.
