My wife and myself had dinner at the Ritz and were very pleasantly surprised. The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was definitely small town America.

This is a cozy little diner downtown. Good food and friendly service. It's like a throwback to the 40s or 50s-great fun.

Excellent food. Nice folks. Very nice steaks, fish, and shrimp meals. Full bar. Just a very nice place to have a meal.

Service was terrible- we waited 15 min. for someone to even stop by to see if wanted anything to drink. The food was ok- nothing special. I would not rush back here. Cheap wine and only one brand.

We had two baseball teams with some spouses in town for a baseball game. Both teams met at the Ritz for dinner the night before. We had about 35 people and the owners could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They sat us all close together as requested and the wait staff was helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. The Ritz has been a Dyersville favorite for over 60 years. Dan & Carol Sawyer are the owners. Dan worked in the automotive field for over 25 years. Dan's father, Orval Sawyer, owned and ran a popular little restaurant in a nearby town of Earlville named The Town Talk.
