Good choice for Mountain View

This Residence Inn is a good choice for a long or short stay in the area. It is made up of several small two-level buildings. Breakfast is included and offers a good selection. The rooms are clean and functional, if a bit dated. Kitchens are convenient and well-stocked. Weekend rates are very reasonable; weekdays are much higher.

It was a tough call, but I am going to give it 4 stars.
The good: it is very close to many silicon valley companies with little or no traffic in the morning or in the evening even during rush hour. Very nice in room kitchens. Excellent and very helpful front desk staff. The Internet is not bad at all...

My dad got reservations here on our recent trip and we had no complaints about staying here. The breakfast was nice, the room was adequate, the wifi worked well. Good place to stay and adjacent to many local places. They hit a home run when they recommended Vive Sol down the road!

Stay during granddaughter's cancer treatment

Our 1st time staying in area, due to our 2 year old granddaughters recent diagnosis with Leukemia. She's being treated at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, so we needed to find a place nearby for frequent visits. This is probably farther than we'd like to be, but we're unfamiliar with the layout of town. Close to lots of shopping...

Our complete experience was excellent. Our stay was peaceful, comfortable, and quiet. Check-in and Check-out was excellent. Our breakfast and contact(s) with staff/employees was professional. We felt save and inspired to stay at this location. I believe we received for what we paid for.
