Makuch's Red Rooster is now in it's second generation with brothers, Archie and Ken Makuch still at the helm at the restaurant that they cut their teeth on in their early teens. The restaurant is one of the last if not the last tablecloth restaurants in Genesee County area. Now in its second generation of management, this cozy American restaurant opened in 1959. There is a standard menu in addition to daily specials. Several of the most popular menu choices are the filet mignon, Michigan whitefish, and shrimp sauté. There are also lighter lunch dishes available. Save room for an ice cream sundae for dessert.
