Redcoat Tavern Restaurant Review

This place is proof we've forgiven the British for that Revolutionary War thing. A mannequin dressed in the renowned redcoat uniform stands behind glass near the main entrance, and the menu has a dish named The Cornwallis. A big stone fireplace and hearth conjure up images of welcoming English pubs. Its signature Redcoat hamburger boasts more than a quarter century history of happy customers....

Well-done American classics abound at this dimly lit, British-themed hideaway.

In Short
From the name, to the mannequin in 18th-century British military garb in the entrance, patrons know that this is a restaurant with a theme. The dimly-lit interior is relaxing and...

They have consistently excellent hamburgers. No matter whether we sit at the bar or at a table the service has been very good and the food served promptly. We consider this the best burger in the area

Trying different places you tend to forget that the best all around “American” food is at Red Coat. Fresh hamburger, great glass of beer and French fried sweet potatoes! No one does it better.

It’s a pretty cool bar, decently busy and dark as, well, it’s dark. Bring a flashlight. Burger was pretty good, Caesar Salad was good. All a little overpriced, but maybe it’s worth it! The staff was great, bartenders fun and everyone works hard in this...

Been there many times...It's become 'the' place to head to when we're looking for a good meal, but have a little time to spare. Only been disappointed by long wait times...but that is only attributed to the quality of the food...everyone wants some! Again, tonight, went in for dinner- it was late (8:30ish on a Saturday). The wait was quoted for two at 20-25 minutes...headed to the bar, got a...
