This majestic 1890 Victorian charmer was once a grooming school for upper-class young women. Restored in 1980 and renovated in early 2006, the four-story building recalls San Francisco's golden days. Walk under rich red draperies to the lavish "grand salon" lobby replete with English oak wainscoting and period antiques, and it feels like a different era. Guest rooms also contain a profusion of...

Our first trip to the city. We were impressed by the beautiful architecture, the parks and landscaping along the streets, breathtaking views of the city and the bay, the fantastic museums and the friendliness of the people. Each morning we took our map to the front desk and asked how to get to the place(s) we wanted to see. The staff would literally draw us a picture of the bus route we needed....

We absolutely loved this Hotel and the location. We stay is SF often and our daughter is now up above this Hotel. We like to stay close to her and there were some wonderful eats and shopping nearby with just a short bit of walking. This was so quiet compared to staying more downtown which we loved. Great Staff and no complaints at all.

Fantastic Victorian style hotel in the Presidio area. Great antiques, very ample breakfast with waffle maker and nicely fixed room with high ceiling. John, front desk, very helpful. Would stay here again. Next to Japantown and several bus routes.

Upon entering the front entrance of Queen Anne Hotel, my wife and I had a nice welcome feeling just merely looking at the decor of the hotel. It gave us that 'something special' feeling. As we checked in, the lady concierge gave us a nice welcome greeting. My wife can't help herself saying how she like the hotel decor and...
