Ok, admirers say it’s “not what it once was” since the “remodel”, but this 1945-vintage “neighborhood pub” remains a “laid-back alternative” with simple surroundings and fair prices for TriBeCa; still, the “mainstream” mood has partisans pleading “please bring back the old Puffy’s.”
