Editorial reviews from the web (3)

The "thinnest", "winningest" crust is the hallmark of this Gramercy pizzeria, a "local hot spot" cranking out "splendid" pies at "accessible prices"; it's a "tight space" with "no decor" and "not-so-courteous" service, so the to-go trade stays brisk.

Outpost of the popular thin-crust joint Gruppo.

Posto Restaurant Review

This tavern-like eatery serves up a variety of salads, Italian-influenced appetizers and paper-thin-crust pizzas, keeping the formula similar if not the same as its sister restaurants, Vezzo and Gruppo. Posto offers budget-friendly weekday lunch specials, such as a number of sandwiches and personal pizzas. Dinner may begin with the generous antipasti plate with portobello mushrooms, artichoke...

My biggest beef with pizza is often how messy it gets. Grease drips off the cheese- and sauce-laden pie as you try to maneuver it delicately into your mouth, hoping that your teeth doesn't string...

Love love LOVE Posto! The best pizza in NYC hands down. Gorgeous thin, crispy crust and fresh ingredients in a cozy setting and you've for yourself a perfect combo.I love getting a plain pie and trying a few different additional toppings each time - but if you want to try one of their off the menu pizzas the …

Posto is a most visit restaurant. We had the goat cheese crostini as an appetizer. This was a phenomenal choice and I would highly recommend. Our waiter was fantastic and friendly. We ordered small pizzas for 3 people thinking we could try two things. Our waiter recommended that we instead order one …

Tonight was the second time in two weeks we ordered a pizza and it was completely burnt on the bottom. Posto is amazing because of the fresh ingredients and bright flavors but not when all you can taste is char. I really wish this amazing restaurant would be consistent, I don't want to roll the dice every time I order here.

Business description (5)

Caf in continental Europe refers to a traditional type of coffeehouse, but elsewhere "cafe" may refer to a tea room, small and cheap restaurant (colloquially a "caff"), transport cafe, or other casual eating and drinking place.[1][2][3][4][5] A coffeehouse may share some of the same characteristics of a bar or restaurant, but it is different from a cafeteria.

Posto Pizza was founded in 2007. Posto Pizza specializes in Retail - Pizza Restaurants.

From the same folks who're behind proverbially-cramped Pizza Gruppo, Posto sports a cozier profile than its Alphabet City elder. Fortunately, that's about as deep as the divide runs – Like Gruppo, their thin-crust pizzas are impeccably done, and folks from Gramercy and beyond crowd the pubby space each night to enjoy a Shroomtown pie and, perhaps, a brew or two.
