We rented a 2 bedroom condo off of VRBO.com from Nick Athens (Portofino Tower 3, unit 1903). The condo is beautiful. The resort is beautiful and relaxing. Beautiful facility. Problem with a hidden "check-in" fee. Was told fee disclosed online (& maybe it was??) but I specifically asked if there would be any charges to CC. Told no unless damages. I was charged $150.53 & admin basically says too bad that our staff told you no charges, you should have read the online statement. Poor customer service.

We have stayed here a few years in a row, our most recent stay was June of 2015. It also happened to be the same time there were literally 1500 teenagers staying at the same time for a Baptist Teen Week. We had to arrange our day around their schedule because the facility was essential unusable when they were out...

Plenty to do here with first class service. The whole family enjoyed our time. Many extra charges for boats, beach chairs, and water play obstacles. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
The beach offers some waves and sand... The sound is relaxing for water fun and snorkeling.
