I've been coming here weekly for 6 months now and LOVE it! The actual facility is pretty old and beat up with leaky roofs (which I think is in the process of being fixed soon), but the employees do a great job maintaining it. Appears to be staffed by minimum wage teenagers. Not very attentive. Kids class is $70/hour, 5 kids per instructor - that means 80% of the time is spent waiting to climb. Also that's $350/hour they are charging, for a teen instructor who they are paying $10-$15 for that hour. What's wrong with this picture?

This climbing gym is located in the enormous, renovated Belmont Theatre. It offers 19,000 square feet of climbing including 80 top ropes that reach 50 feet high. A complete fitness facility, Planet Granite also features a variety of yoga and other fitness programs at its clean and well-maintained property. Also, its staff is friendly and helpful.

12,000 square feet of climbing wall. Has a variety of indoor climbing-150 top rope routes, and lead climbing on 30 of the routes, 3000 square feet of bouldering caves, walls, and arêtes.
