Hailing from Italy, Luigi Agostini knows a thing or two about pizza. We like the Capone, with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. Also good are the Donatello made with ricotta, mozzarella and romano cheeses and the classic margherita. If none of the selections meet your fancy, create your own. I had to check this place out after seeing Pizzeria Luigi on Triple D. It's not fancy by any means; it's quite small. The variety of pizza options makes up for all of that. Sorely disappointed...expected much more

Ordered a margharita pie, and it was dry because it had no sauce. Seriously? No sauce? Plus I needed a microscope to find the basil. The result: cheesy bread with huge pieces of tomato. I was staying nearby, but I should have gotten in my car and gone to Little Italy. Can't recommend.

Fantastic pizza by the slice or with a whole pie. Reminiscent of classic New York style pizza. Excellent selection of beers. Nothing fancy about the decor, but fits with the neighborhood, and you should focus on the food!!

so guy fieri was here, and had the mona lisa.
my buddy wanted to do exactly that, and we went to this rather secluded looking location in the middle of a quieter part of SD.
He ordered the mona lisa, and had the whole pizza to himself.
we ordered slices of Raffaello, Donatello, and Michelangelo, all tasted sublime!
