For years Bronx Pizza has reigned supreme in San Diego---that is, until long-time employee Luigi Agostini opened Pizzeria Luigi in Golden Hill. Hailing from Italy, Luigi knows a thing or two about pizza. He serves up his best pies along… Read More
Hailing from Italy, Luigi Agostini knows a thing or two about pizza. We like the Capone, with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. Also good are the Donatello made with ricotta, mozzarella and romano cheeses and the classic margherita. If none of the selections meet your fancy, create your own. Or try the Luigi's Mona Lisa pie (pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, black olives)...
In Short
Rumors of ultra-thin and crispy crusts draw pizza connoisseurs from throughout San Diego to this no-frills Golden Hill location. The NY-style pizza is available with CA-style...

so guy fieri was here, and had the mona lisa.
my buddy wanted to do exactly that, and we went to this rather secluded looking location in the middle of a quieter part of SD.
He ordered the mona lisa, and had the whole pizza to himself.
we ordered slices of Raffaello, Donatello, and Michelangelo, all tasted sublime!
The pizza...
