I have been here 10 times. I love it! I live 2 blocks from another chinese restaurant that I would not go to for free. I don't mind spending my money on quality and this is where I can do that and still be satisfied. Food, Service, Ambiance (Thesaurus: synonyms) Peking duck, Miguel (best server), indoor out door bar. What else do I need to say. Try it for yourself.

They claim family style portions. That is true if you are a quail. 3 shrimp in a family style dish for over $20. The service is great and so is the atmosphere but their food is average and so ridiculously over priced it is absurd. Their food was also bland except for the Black Bass dish although an extremely tiny portion. All other dishes were average and so were the dumplings. The dumplings...

Be sure to head over to Philippe for their happy hour, 4-6 p.m. daily. Coming from the West Palm Beach area I have been trying to make it to the Philippe by Philippe Chow location in the Gansevoort for ages! But I won’t have to wait much longer because of the new location opening in Boca. Friends in Miami have said this is one of the best Chinese restaurants they have been to and I can’t wait to try it when it opens!
