I had always heard good things from people who had dealt with Pete's Gear Shop, so when I began to notice a deep sound/vibration coming from the back of my car, I decided to take it to them. Their diagnosis was the bearings in my differential. I was told they could fix it, so I said go for it. When we test drove it, it was clear the problem hadnt been properly adressed. Their next idea was that my driveshaft had been damaged, and that it needed to be replaced. So I bought that, and had it installed. The problem still was there. Two weeks later, they're out of ideas, I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and they gave me back a car that's still broken. I could not be more disappointed by my experience with Pete's Gear Shop, and I do not reccomend them to anyone.

Vary bad service, he picks and chose what car he wants to work on. I brought all the parts to do the job, 2- day job turned into 5, I had to go over to his shop and push the work. He quoted me a 500-600 dollars, when he was done he tried to charge me 1500, I would not pay that, so he dropped it 1200 ?? I just took my car back and left.... Pulled my truck from another shop because Pete's Shop quoted me 900 bucks cheaper. 900 bucks!!! But just bc he did it cheaper doesnt mean he didn't give me a quality product and service.
