Great lunch counter for grabbing vegan eats and smoothies/juices and definitely worth the hike from MetroTech. Lunch lines can get long, but move fairly quickly. The breakfast sandwich and the bahn mi are addictive and the dragon bowls are great value that will fill your belly. There is no seating and some items can be a bit pricey. The grocery section has great variety of products and brands.

I have been a loyal patron of Perelander for quite a number of years now, and have always found the service and the quality of their food to be perfect for the type of diet choices that I want to have available to me. However, for the past several months I have noticed that the consistency in the bakery section has taken a turn for the worst. I remember when I could get a muffin for $1.75 a few years ago and did not have a problem paying that much for it because of the quality, and ingredients that it contained. I did not even have a problem when the price was changed to what it is now...

Perelandra has everything. Organic produce, medicine, juice bar - this is what health food stores were like before the big guns came in. The workers are very helpful and intelligent and the store is a beauty. What ever you need- you will find it there.
