He's a nice older man who has a lot of experience and is really just kind of interesting to talk to. Yeah he's old school and prescribes medication, but if you don't want that go to a therapist. Super helpful if you need someone who understands medication.

Dr. Strauss is the best psychiatrist my wife, who suffered from schizophrenia, ever had in the 30 years she had the disease. Mercifully, she has passed away at age 54 from ovarian cancer. I am her widower and sat in on all of her sessions with Dr. Strauss, who did wonders for my wife's suffering and also for our marriage relationship in dealing with this dreaded illness. This old bat is useless. Get help from someone that cares. All he does is push drugs and doesn't try to even solve problems with other forms of help, like acupuncture to treat depression or...

Dr. Strauss has been practicing medicine since 1962 and was board certified in Psychiatry in 1965. Dr. Strauss received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1958 and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Colorado Medical Center in 1962.
