Locally owned frozen yogurt company caters to busy Mission Valley shoppers with self-serve fro-yo and fruit smoothies.
My daughter and I Have Celiac Disease with a dairy allergy. Both of us love ice cream but it is really hard to find some good tasting frozen dessert that we can eat. We were in San Diego for a few days and had a ice cream craving. My daughter search for some dairy free options and found Paradise Yogurt....
Great low cal custard, my husband and myself love to go, the girls are really friendly. The menu is full of shakes, smoothies, coffees and custards.
I LOVE that they always have a vegan option! And one that's really great too, along with vegan toppings. (They also have options for other dietary restrictions, along with lots of regular frozen yogurt). I wish they had the butterscotch flavor more often though - it's amazing!!
After going to coldstone only to find out they closed 15 minutes early, we raced down to paradise, and they stayed open 10 minutes after closing to help us. The icecream is very good, just a bit expensive.
This place isn't too far from home, so I've been here multiple times. It's a small cozy spot that has a cute book exchange for their customers, some local brands in the fridge if desired, and a good selection of toppings to choose from. My rating of 3 stars is because the service isn't excellent - I never quite feel …
