Paleio Portuguese Bistro & Lounge

Not worthy of rating. Took a party of four here last night. Made reservations ahead of time. Arrived promptly and was told to sit wherever we'd like. The small dining area had 3 additional tables. We were served water as remaining place settings were removed from our table of 6 place settings to accommodate our group of 4. We were handed menus.. No menu specials suggested no other drink order...

Best in Newark. My family and I recently dined at Paleio and were blown away by our meals. Absolutely fantastic. We dined here after a Nets/Knicks game and could not have made a better choice.The food was tasty, the wine affordable and the waiter professional and friendly. We did use a restaurants.com certificate but would gladly return and pay full price. I wish we did not live in PA so we...

Bacalhau com Natas. Hands down of of the tastiest, if not the tastiest B com C in the entire Newark area. Creamy, but not overly - slight crisp top that hides and amazing savory taste below. Love it.

Pulido05a. I have been dining in the "ironbound" area of Newark for many years. My recent visit to Paleio Bar & Grill was by far on the top of my list. The Portuguese food is authentic and delicious. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff friendly with a desire to make the dinning experience relaxing and delicious. Well done!
