Pacifica Hotel is more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms were small and cramped but very clean. They also have shared bathrooms so make sure to lock the door or knock before entering. It has a great location being in downtown San Diego but the downside is it makes parking a huge pain. Pacifica Hotel had that European hostel feel when you first walk up to it, open the doors, and find a steep staircase leading you to the second floor where you wait patiently at a tiny cramped window for the owner to come out. Pacifica has a pretty amazing location in Downtown San Diego, but the small lobby area wasn’t much to look at, and no one seemed to be available at the front desk.
