Help us make it rightStop by at Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts to enjoy some great performing arts. On its vast entertainment platter, you will find drama, dance, jazz, comedy, opera and even cabaret. The theater space is sometimes transformed into an art gallery. The gallery's ever-changing schedule presents works by artists as well as photographers.
I saw the ballet here and it was pretty good. The venue is nice. It looked a bit 70's or 80's with the entrance but still nice. It's nice and small. The people that worked there were really nice....
I came here to see a beautiful tango concert in October. It's a small venue with a good sound system, comfortable seating and nice view of the stage.Like another reviewer had said:they seem to have a very interesting line-up of singers, musicians and dancers, and ticket prices are quite affordable.
Michael Schimmel Center for the arts shows amazing theatre and dance, in a small venue, at a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay on Broadway. Shows travel in from all over the world (some are local too), and can really provide something new to those who think they've seen it all.
Found at PACE University in Lower Manhattan, the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts doubles as a performance space and an art gallery.
