Ahh!  Another place for nostalgia!  And, another place my grandfather Sydney Webb used to eat.  This place is a step back in time and well worth the drive.  A home cooked meal right out of the 1950's, (Like I would know!) I was born is 1970.  Listen!,  You just got to go and experience this...  And yes Oscars is also in my new book " Dichotomy of a Door Hinge"

Judging from the area of town and the outside appearance, we were primed to be disappointed but were we surprised. First of all, the place is jam packed at noon. The buffet features a very complete salad bar that would make a meal; fish, chicken, pot roast, MANY veggies, drink, and dessert all for $8. Guaranteed, you won't leave hungry....

They now have a buffet at lunch time with several meat choices and a lot of country style vegetables. It's an older place, but the people are warm and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food makes you feel like you've gone home for a real meal after having been lost in a fast food jungle for way to...
