Editorial reviews from the web (3)

"Elegant, authentic Mexican" cuisine keeps customers coming to this "modern" Redondo Beach cantina famed for its "creative" "twists" on tradition like duck confit chilaquiles; the art-filled digs are "loud and busy", the service "spotty" and the bill might set you back, but most agree the "incredible" margaritas will ease the pain.

Ortega 120 Restaurant Review

Don’t be fooled by the 120 tequilas on the menu (which accounts for the numeric part of the name), the three flat-screen TV’s above the bar, the bar stools that bear the names of regular customers, or the velvet Elvis painting. Food is always consistently good here - this time, the service was a little lackluster. Not bad, just that our server seemed to be bored and not too friendly.

Loved the décor and vibe at Ortega 120. Hot chips and salsa were delicious and the pork tacos and brussel sprouts dish with pumpkin seeds and cotija cheese was divine! Would come back for that dish alone!!! On less stellar notes...michelada was lacking and the enchiladas were ok not bad but just ok. Can't wait to come back with friends and sample a few more dishes.
