I have to follow the same sentiments as the other reviews. I sought out this store for a specific designer's pattern. I was excited to find the store only 2 blocks from my house! First it was extremely awkward to buzz in - I first thought they were closed. I also found the lady in the store (only her and I in there) to be snotty and patronising - unwilling to engage in friendly dialogue. ...

The last review was so funny because I just called this shop regarding a hand applique class and found the person who answered the phone somewhat abrasive and borderline rude.\r
So came back online to google other shops in the area and found this review so I had to add to it. It's a real shame that she acted this way because I was in the market for a new machine!

The small but nice selection of fabrics, notions and books are beautifully displayed in the shop. Honestly, the merchandising is the best part of visiting Once Upon A Quilt. The prices are the same as what you'd find in most quilt shops. For the most part, the staff is pretty nice although they tend to make you feel kind of self-conscious as you are looking around.
