What the community has to say about Olive's

Information about this business (3)

Olive's was founded in 1992 on Prince Street in Manhattan's historic SoHo arts district. We had a very simple mission when we opened: to provide the people in our neighborhood with high quality, freshly prepared food to take away. We realize that many of our SoHo neighbors lead busy lives, and have little time in the middle of the day to linger over a long lunch, but we believe that they still...

Olives is a tiny soup and sandwich shop that has food worthy of the line that snakes out the door on a daily basis. Specials change daily and dishes are made with local produce.

This cozy take-out and delivery-only place is a favorite lunch spot for many people who live and work in Soho. On weekdays you will probably be waiting in line to squeeze inside and place an order for a salad, soup or sandwich. Once outside, you can eat lunch on the store's benches-there is always plenty to see, and you might even see a photo shoot or a movie being filmed nearby in this trendy...

For a "quick bite" in SoHo, this "teeny" "take-out place" fills the bill with its "wide selection" of "delicious" sandwiches, soups and treats served up "quick"; yes, there are "crazy lines at lunch", but it's hard to beat as a "shopping pit stop", and "superb people-watching" helps the time pass.

Great for a fast lunch while shopping in soho. All their sandwiches and salads are pre made and there is no tables/places to sit at this location. I...

The staff here may not try to wait on you hand and foot, but they have always been polite to me. I mean, it is a to-go place so you interact with them for maybe 30 seconds while you order and then pay...Anyways, the sandwiches here are pricey, but in my opinion, worth it! I am a vegetarian so it is very …

Such rude people here at Olive's and mediocre pastries to boot! Maybe a few years ago they could get away with this ridiculous behavior and low level of pastries, but with much higher quality competition just blocks away I don't see them lasting much longer. I ordered a muffin and a large Americano to …

The absolute most rude service I've ever experience. The food at Olive is good but mostly just convenient lunch and breakfast food in Soho. I've been ordering from Olives for years and have gotten used to the extremely rude service on the phone. Two days ago I placed a breakfast order for the …

So, where do I begin? Let's just start with my once love affair I had with Olives for over three years UNTIL a series of incidents occurred over the course of a few months. I don't care about...
