This is a great spot in the heart of Hillcrest, 1 of 2 Gay Villages in San Diego. The staff was friendly and freely gave advice about where else to go, where to eat etc... The patio draws a mix of fun professional types, not too many under 30 for a change! Daily drink specials, besides the domestic beers for $2.50.
Good for people watching too, front windows open up onto the street. Good music/TV by cable provider, really gets busy after 9 Thurs-Sunday. Will definitely try again and recommend to all!!

This lounge and sports pub caters to a mixed crowd--meaning both gay and straight. They offer simple pub-style all-American fare and drink specials to keep the night going. They offer a patio for the smokers and anyone else justing wanting to check out the plethora of pedestrians strolling by.

Located right in the center of Hillcrest, this mixed (as in gay and straight) hang-out features live entertainment at its piano bar, with cocktails available to refresh your throat after you've sung along with the entertainers. If you're more in the mood to people-watch, you can sit at the large windows alongside Fifth Avenue and critique the fashion-sense of pedestrians.
