Arsalun Tafazoli first opened Neighborhood, his craft beer eatery in the East Village, in 2007. Tafazoli then partnered with El Dorado's Nate Stanton to form the hospitality group, Consortium Holdings, which has added new project to its roster each year; their bar and restaurant stable currently includes Noble Experiment, Craft & Commerce, UnderBelly, Polite Provisions and Soda & Swine....
Earlier this month, the busy proprietors behind CH Projects (Craft & Commerce, Neighborhood, Polite Provisions) announced that they're bringing another branch of their ramen shop, UnderBelly, to North Park later this year.
Well folks, here it is: CH Projects' Arsalun Tafazoli has declared their next big project will be called Ironside Oyster.

Interesting first time here a couple months back. I went with my boyfriend, were seated and ordered an appetizer to start and our meals. An hour and a half later (no exaggeration), we asked our server when we might be getting our food because we noticed a group of people who came in after us got …
Solid beer and drink selections, eclectic decor, fantastic food, SAUCES, and Jesus eating a burger. What else could you want?
Enjoyed the Drive-in Burger; in the top 2 I've found in San Diego. Fries were great and were served with a couple of delicious aolis (sun-dried tomato was best). Also had the shaved Brussel Sprout salad with steak. Truly delicious. Great beer and cocktail selection and quick seating for 2 on an otherwise busy Saturday night. We will be back!

I know, I have a problem with Ketchup on my hamburger and fries, and found out they refuse to offer Ketchup. After hearing the speech how they don't serve Ketchup (the server looked so …

Neighborhood is one of the most popular restaurants near PETCO Park. It's a gastropub with quality beer, locally sourced food, and intelligent design that's clean and modern. Hearty, gourmet twists on American classics grace the menu. We're talking fried chicken deviled eggs, jalapeno mac and cheese, and chorizo corn dogs to start. Steak tacos, burgers, and butter-poached black mussels serve as...
Neighborhood is also known locally as Neighborhood Restaurant and Neighborhood Burger.
Check out happy specials during the week, like two-for-one beers, and stop in on Wednesday nights when wine bottles are all buy one get one free.
The vibe is totally casual, but the menu is a tad gourmet. For example, they don't serve ketchup for the seasoned garlic fries.
Great local beer selection includes Firehouse, Stone and 27 total local microbrews on tap.
