As you can see from previous reviews, the "former" N'Awlinz restaurant had a varied Cajun menu. Sorry to say, once they reopened last week, most of what made this place a destination for Cajun foodies was g o n e. The food here is average, I was actually expecting to have a meal that would more than exceed my expectations but they did come up short. Yes it had the creole style but seemed to have a west coast flair Friendly staff. Great downtown location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the flavors, had the Bistro Sampler everything was tasty, the catfish could use a bit less salt, but that's me.

This is a fairly new restaurant, located amid other new specialty restaurants in a small plaza. The food is 100% New Orleans; don't come looking for standard fare. It is spicy, so be careful if you are sensitive to spicy food. The staff was very friendly and offered us samples and suggestions. The decor was simple, with Cajun themed pictures...
